Would you have guessed these dogs were all in the studio at one time?
Well then you were wrong.
I always work separately with every dog and then digitally paint them together afterwards! There's a road outside my studio in Charleston, SC and that can sometimes make dogs a little anxious. This is why I create a calming environment for all the furry companions that visit me at the studio. Just like little kids - animals like to be focused on one by one. This is a major step that helps me create beautiful artwork and also keeps the anxiety levels of my human clients down. HERE is a break down of how I make furry portraits like the one below!
I typically find that by focusing one on one with a pet that you will capture them while they are at their happiest. I mean, just look at those smiling faces! You can't get a more beautiful portrait than that!
