When all else fails . . .

Children are unpredictable, especially the younger ones. Sometimes we just have to be patient - and as experts we know exactly how to capture what we want . . . even when they don't make it easy! With so many places to see Santa in Charleston, SC like the Festival of Lights, Tanger Outlets, Citadel Mall, or even Gibbes Museum of Art, a lot of kids don't want to sit still and pose for a camera. Here? We don't ask them to!!!! We have all the patience in the world to play and interact with your children! Even if we have to kick Santa out to make them more comfortable.

With that being said, we really focus on the EXPERIENCE for your children! A Charleston Santa Experience creates beautiful, priceless paintings for you as the parents but it also gives your children a wonderful memory of Santa. They get to share milk & cookies with him, they get to tell him what they want for Christmas . . . they even get to check to see if their name is on the nice list! All of this involves the big guy, though. Because of that we do suggest this experience for children over the age of 3! We see all children of all ages here at the studio to as young as 3 months . . . but most of the time if the child doesn't have an older sibling they are pretty scared of Santa. They don't want to go near him and it often creates a terrible memory of Santa. We don't want that for the kids! We want smiles, laughter, and for them to talk about it when they leave here. We want happiness and not fear at the end of the day. These beautiful boys are adorable and only 5, 3, & 1! We are over the moon in love with the photographs but feel they left here with everything but a smile on their face because they were so scared of Santa. Great ages would have been 8, 6, & 4! They would've been older and loved Santa at those ages!!!!!!!  We always get what we want, though, and that's these beautiful photographs!!! They will get to cherish these photographs forever and you would never have guessed they wouldn't dare go near Santa!
