There’s a reason people like Christmas in July celebrations. After all, it’s the hottest, stickiest time of summer (especially here in Charleston, SC!). It is months before the next big holiday.
And this year? Covid has made it more difficult than ever to enjoy the usual summer fun activities. We could all use a little holiday cheer about right now. We love that people have pulled out the Christmas decorations to give themselves a little cheer during these uncertain times.
And here at Castelo Portrait Art, we’re getting in on the fun of spreading cheer. We’re helping Santa send personalized letters to children to lift their spirits. (See the details here.)
Here are a few more ideas for how to celebrate Christmas in July:
-Get out the decorations! Put up a few twinkling lights. Pull out your holiday artwork. Deck your halls with anything that makes you smile (and reminds you of happy times!)
-Play Christmas music in your house
-Make your favorite Christmas cookie recipe.
-Schedule your child’s portrait + play time with Santa! Give yourself and your child something to look forward to and start planning how to make it more special than ever!!
Did you know this is a FUNDRAISER for LOR?
Lowcountry Orphan Relief, Inc. (LOR) is a non-profit organization that provides goods and services to children who have been abused or neglected. We work directly with other non-profits, schools, foster parents, and government agencies to identify the individual needs of these and other children in severe situations. We intervene at critical junctures in the lives of these children, with products and services that provide a strong, positive impact.
