Building a family is probably the most important and rewarding thing you can do, in my opinion. You nourish and raise sweet innocent children to 'become members or society' and better our world. Each person has unique experiences and qualities that make them special and different from everyone else. Even twins view the world differently, dress differently, and often conduct themselves differently. Being different is what makes the world go round! We each have different skill sets and a place on this Earth different than someone else.
What I love most about family sessions is that I can capture those different family "blocks" as I like to call them. You always want to capture the entire family as a unit - but each and every part of that family is special and deserves that recognition, too! This family was so much fun to have in my studio in Charleston, SC. Capturing mom & dad and then having each daughter with THEIR kids! I have a newborn grand daughter and I absolutely love that my family is growing. Each family tree having limbs is exciting. You get to see you baby have a baby and watch them experience the love you have for them! Let's admit it - there is NO love on this planet like the love of a parent for their baby. Your baby is also you baby for their entire lives - no matter how old you both get! I have "adult kids" and they are still my babies to this day. I love the love that was in the studio that day. You couldn't wipe those smiles off the grandparents faces to have their grand babies in the studio with them.
Family is so important to me. . . Probably the MOST important. I love family photography, child photography, animal photography (yes! that includes photography of dogs AND cats!), beach photography, and downtown photography! We venture to Kiawah, Folly Beach, downtown Charleston, Mount Pleasant, Summerville, West Ashley and surrounding areas of Charleston, SC. We have clients come from all over South Carolina, Florida, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, and sometimes even further! It's always a honor to work with a family! I would love to work with yours!
